British 10K

British 10K — 12 July 2009

Three runners (2 wearing orange wigs) at the complettion of their Bristish 10K runThe British 10K is a fantastic run which takes you past many of central London's world famous historic and iconic landmarks. By gaining sponsorship before this year's run, you could raise valuable funds for the work of Sense International.

When you register to run for Sense International we will send you a fundraising kit to help you raise funds, and we will also be on hand to offer any advice or resources you may need to reach your fundraising target. We will send you information for the day, a Sense International running vest and, if you dare, one of our trademark orange wigs to make sure you really stand out from the crowd.

How to get involved

1. Own place runner: We would be delighted if you would join our British 10K running team and raise funds for Sense International. You should visit the British 10K website to register online for the run as an own place runner. Once you have your place, register with Sense International by downloading our registration form and returning it to us.

Once we have received your form we will send you a fundraising kit to get you on your way. While we would encourage you to raise as much as possible in sponsorship, own place runners have no set fundraising target.

If you don’t get accepted as an own place runner, you should consider approaching us for one of our Guaranteed Places in the run.

2. Guaranteed Place: If you aren’t accepted as an own place runner, you can apply for one of our Guaranteed Places in the race. Simply download and complete the registration form and return it to us with your £30 registration fee. We will then send you a fundraising kit full of ideas to help you reach your £200 minimum fundraising target.
