Campaigning

One of the ways we make a major difference in the lives of deafblind people is by running campaigns to make more people aware of the needs and potential of deafblind people.

Our goal is to ensure that deafblindness is recognised as a distinct disability in policy-making, and that government funding and services are available and easy to get to for all deafblind people.

This work has made a dramatic difference in the ability of deafblind people and their families to receive education, social welfare, health and employment support from the government.
