The 'Run to the Beat' half marathon which took place in the O2 arena last year, was London's first ever half marathon and sold out within 6 weeks of launching. With live music that has been scientifically selected to boost the runners performance, it is perfect for music lovers and runners alike.
So whether you have done a 10K run and are after the next big challenge, are a half marathon enthusiast or need an event to train for a full marathon, this is the run for you!
Sense International has been chosen as one of the Run to the Beat official charities in 2009 and has guaranteed places available. We would be delighted if you would join our running team and support our work.
How to get involved
1. Own place runner: If you have your own place in the run then we would be delighted if you would join our running team and raise funds for Sense International. You will be be given the same levels of fundraising and training support as guaranteed place runners, only you will not have a suggeted minimum fundraising target. Simply download and complete the registration form and return it to us. Once we have received your form we will send you your fundraising kit and training information. You will then also be sent a Sense International running vest closer to the actual event.
2. Guaranteed place runner: Sense International has a number of guaranteed places to allocate to those people who could not get their own place in the run. To take up one of our guaranteed places, we hope you will aim to fundraise a minimum £300 for the work of Sense International. To apply for a guaranteed place, download and complete the registration form and return it with your £60 registration fee. If we are able to confirm your place, we will send you a fundraising kit and training information so that you can get started with your preparations straight away. A running vest will also be sent out to you closer to the event.
