Sense International (East Africa)

Set up in 2003, Sense International (East Africa) is our youngest country office, yet already we have brought about remarkable changes in the quality of life of deafblind people and their families in the region.

With head offices in Nairobi, Kenya, we work with nine partner organisations in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Our focus to date has been supporting associations for deafblind people and their families, leading to rapid changes in these groups' abilities to support their own members and to lobby the governments for change.
