The City Ice Skate 2010

Don't miss City Ice Skate 2010- taking place on Thursday 4th February at Broadgate Ice Rink, London. The City Ice Skate is a great way to raise funds and have fun on the ice.

A team challenge for four to six people, this event is suitable for skaters of varying ability, including novices - and will test your speed, agility and skill. It is popular as a charitable festive activity for work colleagues, or for friends and family.

Nicky Slater, Dancing on Ice

Sense International is delighted that Olympic skater and Dancing on Ice judge, Nicky Slater, is back to host City Ice Skate 2010. As well as setting up challenges and judging teams, Nicky has donated a fantastic prize for the winning team - tickets for Dancing on Ice live shows.

Teams can practice at Broadgate Ice Rink in the lead up, and bring family and friends on the day. There will be ice-skating displays by professional skaters - who make that double axel look so easy - and a post-event party to end an exhilarating day.

All proceeds will go to Sense and Sense International to change the lives of deafblind children and adults in the UK and less developed countries around the world.
