Trek Lesotho

This great trekking challenge will introduce and immerse you in the fascinating culture and scenery of Lesotho, a unique and seldom visited country land locked within Southern Africa and flanked by the  dramatic Drakensberg Mountains.

We cross rivers and gorges, climb mountain passes, swim below magnificent waterfalls and meet the wonderful Basotho villagers along the way. Many names have been used to describe the highland that covers nine-tenths of Lesotho, but to its inhabitants, the Basotho, it is known simply as Maloting, "place of the mountain range".

In autumn these great heights are crimson with red-hot pokers, Winter brings snow and the waterfalls turn to ice. With spring the mountains ooze water that feeds several South Africa rivers and finally Summer brings thunderstorms, when great rumblings reverberate throughout the mountains.
