Trek Patagonia

Well done to our group of trekkers who ventured to the southern-most reaches of Chile and to the heart of one of the world's greatest wilderness parks in March 2009. All trekkers successfully completed the famous W circuit in the breathtaking Torres Del Paine national park which included trekking along the floor of the Ascensio Valley to the base of three towering granite monoliths which rise to an impressive 2,900m! This was a difficult trek over rocky and undulating terrain and in five days the group ascended a total of 887m and back again, covering a total distance of 83.2km. The wild and remote terrain boasted magnificent glaciers and floating icebergs to keep everyone entertained and make this the challenge of a lifetime.

The Patagonian trekkers have raised over £100,000 from their challenge to support deafblind children in the developing world.
