White water rafting
White water rafting is an experience you will never forget, and now you can raft for free in aid of Sense International!
By raising a minimum sponsorship amount, you or your white water rafting team can make a sizeable donation to our work while receiving your training and white water rafting experience for free.
The sponsorship level is set at £1000 for a team of up to eight people — that's just £125 per person. And, of course, you are allowed to raise more! From the minimum sponsorship raised by a team, Sense International will receive an average donation of £600.
How to get involved
1. Get a team together: Get a team of between six and eight enthusiastic and dedicated people (exact number required depends on location); together you will raise your £1000 target and take part in the rafting.
2. Register: Download and complete the white water rafting registration form and return it to Sense International with your non-refundable deposit.
3. Fundraise: Sense International will send you a comprehensive fundraising kit full of ideas to help you reach your fundraising target. Once you reach your target you will be eligible to be reimbursed for the registration deposit that you paid.
4. Take part: Prior to the day, rafting organiser Skyline will send you all the other rafting information you need. Then it’s just a matter of turning up and having fun!
