Iron Mountain is an information management company with 2,500 employees and 88 locations in the UK and offices around the world.

Our partnership with Iron Mountain launched on 1 September 2011 and will be running until December 2012. The target for year one is £100,000, with activities planned across their sites including office, warehouse and driving employees.

To mark the launch of the partnership, a range of employees across different sites led by their Community Champions team took part in the fourth annual Dragon Boat Race at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre and raised an incredible £2,500 as a team!

Iron Mountain’s official launch was on 3 October and during that week staff based at locations across the UK took part in a Spinathon to raise money and awareness for the launch of their Charity of the Year partnership. Staff based at Cottons sweated it out on the office floor for everyone to see. Competition was strong as staff from different departments competed to see who could travel furthest in 15 minutes. During the week other activities took place across the country including a raffle for annual leave and the sale of Sense charity wrist-bands.

During the course of the partnership, Iron Mountain employees will be involved in a variety of fundraising events and volunteering including participation in the Sense in the City Quiz in November, a European five-aside football tournament next summer and a unique fundraiser to mark their 60th Anniversary.

"We would like to thank Iron Mountain employees for getting behind our partnership and look forward to working together to raise funds to ensure that everyone challenged by deafblindness or sensory impairment, has access to the advice, opportunities and support they need."
Claire Wood Hill, Director of Fundraising

We are very grateful for Iron Mountain’s ongoing support and will be regularly updating this page with their activities.
