Sense International helps deafblind people in less developed countries to communicate, connect, interact and flourish
In less developed countries, without support, four out of five children who are both deaf and blind may die before their fifth birthday.
We are Sense International
Sense International works in partnership to provide services and raise awareness of the needs of deafblind people and their families so they can connect, participate and contribute to their communities.

Trek Lesotho
- When: 8 - 17 October 2010
- Where: Lesotho (within South Africa)
This great trekking challenge will introduce and immerse you in the fascinating culture and scenery of Lesotho, a unique and seldom visited country land locked within Southern Africa and flanked by the dramatic Drakensberg Mountains.
We cross rivers and gorges, climb mountain passes, swim below magnificent waterfalls and meet the wonderful Basotho villagers along the way. Many names have been used to describe the highland that covers nine-tenths of Lesotho, but to its inhabitants, the Basotho, it is known simply as Maloting, "place of the mountain range".
In autumn these great heights are crimson with red-hot pokers, winter brings snow and the waterfalls turn to ice. With spring the mountains ooze water that feeds several South Africa rivers and finally summer brings thunderstorms, when great rumblings reverberate throughout the mountains.
