Edwin Osundwa appointed to the Disability Rights Fund global advisory panel

Edwin Osundwa, Sense International Country Representative in Kenya, has been appointed to the Disability Rights Fund global advisory panel as a result of his advocacy work.
The Disability Rights Fund is a grant making collaboration between donors and the global disability community aimed at supporting disabled persons' organizations in the developing world to advance the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Since 2008, the Fund has given out more than $9 million to support disability projects in 21 countries (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Ukraine, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru; Ghana, Namibia, Uganda, Lebanon, and 9 other countries). The grants support skills-building, rights, advocacy, and promotion of disability groups.
