Specialist teacher to input to new Tanzanian constitution

Earlier this month Edith Dosha, a specialist teacher at Uhuru Mchanganyiko deafblind unit in Tanzania was nominated to play a key role in reviewing the proposed new constitution for Tanzania. Edith will be part of  a special parliament made up of  600 representatives from different sections of society and current MPs who will bring with them a range of expertise and experience.

The group will sit for 90 days and review the proposed new constitution for Tanzania. Edith will be one of 20 representatives from disability organisations but will be the only person representing deafblindness.
