Our work at Sense International is guided by a range of policies. As part of our commitment to be accountable to those who come into contact with our organisation and to operate transparently, you can access a number of these policies in this section.
Many of our policies include a Country Reference Sheet, which contains information specific to the context in which the policy is applied. If you wish to access a copy of the Country Reference Sheet specific to your country, please contact your local Sense International office or representative. Compliments & complaints
We welcome compliments and complaints from anybody connected to us, wherever they are in the world. We are committed to celebrating when we do something well; but when issues arise, we will work hard to manage these fairly and effectively. If you would like to share feedback with us, it is usually best to contact a member of Sense International staff directly. Find contact details for your local office.
The Compliments & Complaints Policy is part of our Safeguarding System. It sets out how to make a compliment or raise a complaint both informally and formally, and explains how these will be handled. It also provides information about regulatory bodies that you can contact should you be dissatisfied with our response.
Child & Vulnerable Adult Protection
We take our responsibility to keep people safe seriously, and we continually strive to embed good practice across the organisation and beyond. Read more about our approach to safeguarding.
The Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy is a central component of our Safeguarding System. It sets out how to report a protection concern, and how these reports will be handled. It also explains the responsibility of everyone in the organisation in relation to child and vulnerable adult protection.
Equality & Diversity
We recognise that everyone is different and has something unique to offer; we also wish to make the most of everyone’s talents and reflect the communities that we serve. As a result, we are committed to working in ways that embrace diversity and promote equality of opportunity.
The Equality & Diversity Policy forms part of our Safeguarding System. It sets out how we will promote equality and diversity in our operations and explains how we will address complaints relating to bullying, harassment, discrimination or victimisation.
If you have any questions about our policies, or if you require information on other Sense International policies, please contact your local Sense International office or representative.
